It uses four Pillars - Year, Month, Day, and Hour - each containing two symbols, to produce a detailed map of your personality, strengths, blind spots, and how different periods of your life tend to feel.

We calculate the Hour Pillar using true solar time at your birthplace, not the clock time on your birth certificate. This is how classical BaZi works. Most digital tools use civil time, which introduces error for people born near timezone boundaries or near midnight. Our calculation uses NASA/JPL Horizons data for precise solar longitude positioning.

Your Day Master is the first Heavenly Stem of your Day Pillar. It is considered the most important character in your chart. It represents your core identity and the lens through which your entire chart is read.
